Blade replicator
A device for copying the shape of a skate blade.
Fits the SSM PROFIL.
Use
Unscrew the entire template bracket and replace it with the blade replicator. (When you are done, reassemble the template bracket.)
Mark the center of the skate blade and place it against the mid point. Align the blade you are going to sharpen with the one you are going to copy. Start the machine and grind until there are no more sparks (or the area is covered with an equal amount of sparks). The ball bearing will follow the skate blade and provide perfect copying in the middle. The copying will be shifted slightly (minimally) the more curve the skate blade has.
